Originally from Bakersfield, California, Lost Ocean released in May 2005 a first self-prod album, Douse the Choir , which essentially allowed him to be noticed by Credential Recordings ( Edison Glass , Future of Forestry ,...). The quartet composed an EP for the label in 2006, Night to Life, followed by a second album, this time eponymous, on February 20, 2007. Studio session that allows him to re-record some of the tracks ("Mute", "Still Life") already present on his first effort.
