Loudblast
Biography
Undoubted (and undisputed) pioneers of the Thrash scene / A French death metal, Loudblast formed in 1985 in Lille and was able to impose its fast and aggressive music from the very beginning. After a few demos distributed in tap-trading, Loudblast released Licensed To Thrash, a first split in 1986 with his equally cult comrades Agressor. Leaded by iron by frontman Stéphane Buriez, the band has earned a scenic reputation at the height of their music. With the release of their first two opus, Sensorial Treatment and Disincarnate, Loudblast continues several tours with groups as prestigious as heteroclites such as Cannibal Corpse, Manowar, Coroner or Sepultura. The Welsh also made friends with the painter Bolek Budzyn, who will work on all the covers of the group. His strange frescoes, with the appearance of a sexual obsessive Dali psychopath, are perfectly fond of the orgyic violence of Loudblast's music. The EP Cross The Threshold and the Fragments album were recognized in particular by their cover (more than suggestive) as well as by the quality of the titles they contained. In 1999, Loudblast decided to hang up the guitars and stop the adventure. But in 2002, the urge to go back to the stage after the concert in commemoration of death Chuck Schuldiner (Death). In 2004 Planet Pandemonium was released, followed by five years of concerts by this time to record live Loud, Live And Heavy. In 2009, after several tours throughout France, Loudblast prepared his return by offering the public a set containing all their major albums, all sold at a low price. This initiative was of course taken to prepare the group for its great return. And indeed, 2011 sees the release of Ludblast's new opus, Frozen Moments Between Life And Death, and looks like one of the best thrasheux albums. In 2014 the pioneers are back with the amazing Burial Ground and proves that they are still far from having finished it, 2015 Loudblast Celebrates his 30 years of careers at home, in Lille during a Dantec concert that will be filmed by several cameras in front of an insanity audience.
