At Halloween in 2003, Love Equals Death (North Bay, California) was born around former members of Loose Change, Eye Defy and Tsunami Bomb (Dominic Davi is one of the founding members of the late Tsunami Bomb). They record two Eps, a few videos and a pair of demos on a small local label. They open for T.S.O.L. , Avenged Sevenfold or The Distillers ... and it is at one of these concerts that Fat Mike is witness to L.E.D.'s live performance. They joined the Fat Wreck team at the end of 2005, and the four punk-rock seasoners released their first album, Nightmerica. They toured in 2006 with Pennywise , The Suicide Machines and No Use For A Name , on the West Coast, to promote the album, creating an increasingly important fan base..
