Formed in 2002 in Lidköping, M:40 is toothed on two demos before getting into the big bath. The first album Tomma ord är inte värda ett skit was released in 2005 at Em Records. The band collected its first laurels, the album being even played on Swedish national radio. During the winter of 2005/2006, M:40 recruits a second singer, Sebben, with whom is recorded a split seven with Grace Will Fall in 2006. The association will continue for a series of concerts. In 2007, the Swedish recruit a new bassist in the person of Johan, of the Grindcore Exhale group. M:40's second album, Historians svarta vingslag , was released in May 2007.
