Biography

The epic M-Sixteen began in February 2000, with a first formation composed of Victor (bass), G-rom (battery) and Rafik (guitar and singing). After a concert, the band split up in September for personal problems. After a two-month emptiness it is Victor who decides to resume the adventure where the story had left her. He recalled G-rom and then enlisted Renaud and Mike as guitarists. In October '01, the combo recorded the first EP demo released in January 2002 on the Parisian label Sauve Ta Sauce and allowed them to shoot again.
September 2003 the band returns to studio with new compositions now more hardcore punk melody. The result comes out as a CD split with the Californians of The Missing 23rd. The group went back on the roads of France (crossing at Strike Anywhere or Shai Hulud) and made some hooks by Belgium, Switzerland and Germany.
At the beginning of 2005, the band began to make the composition of what would become their first eponymous album. Back at the LOKO Studio in June, they started the first recordings for two weeks. This is followed by a long period of refining which will be completed in autumn '06. The quartet can now re-focus on the stage, something they do during the few months before the release of the first opus in May '07, still with STS Network.
