Country: Mexico
Formed: 1983
Styles: Noise Rock Post-Hardcore Post-Punk

Biography

Originally from Périgueux, Magneto started with guitar/battery duo and recruited a bass player in 2011. Influenced by the Chicago noise scene, the trio advocates a certain minimalism while inspired by the aggressive precision of a Shellac, inspired also by the squeaky repetition of a My Disco. Magneto released its first EP Fragment in June 2012, which will be distributed via four labels (Some Produkt, No Glory Records, Crapoulet Records, Blood&Döner). After a tour between France and Portugal, the trio moved between Bordeaux and Rennes, then decided to register a new format, Science of Attraction , not very long either, in Finland, and which will be released in October 2014 via A Tant Rêver Du Roi, in addition to the aforementioned labels. The trio records a split album in the wake with the Touloussains of Pylone. Julien : Bass/Chant Rémi : Guitar/Chant Etienne : Battery
