Biography

It was when Broder Daniel splits in 2008, that two Swedish youth from Gothenburg decided to found Makthaverskan so that "the spirit of this emblem of the Swedish alternative scene will endure". Hugo Randulv (guitar) and Andreas Wettmark (battery) were quickly joined by Maja Milner in singing and Irma Krook in bass. From this union was born a first eponymous album in September 2009 by Luxury . On the programme, a Post-Punk atmosphere tinted with a very 80's Pop. It will take four years to see his successor II go out with Run For Cover, and at the same time disembark Gustav Andersson as second guitarist. 2015 starts with the new 7" Witness whose arrival is hailed by the critics.
