Biography

Mammoth Mammoth is an Australian Hard-Rock / Stoner band from Melbourne and founded in 2007 by Mikey Tucker (Chant), Ben Couzens (Guitare), Gareth Sweet (Basse) and Frank Trobbiani (Battery) on the ashes of the band Rock Furious Dragon Love. In 2008 they record their first eponymous with the single Weather Of Mass Self-Destruction that gets banned from Youtube for his retro porn pictures of the 70s. In response, the group posted the clip on the Tube8 platform, which collected millions of views in a few days. In 2009, they released their first album also named by Golden Triangle Records. This allowed them to tour Australia with Airbourne in 2010, before Gareth left the band, replaced first by Simon Jaunay and then Pete Bell as a permanent member. The band is known for its wild performances and the frascs of its singer. In 2012, Mammoth Mammoth returned with Volume III: Hell For example, Australians traveled to Europe in 2013 where the album received good reviews, notably in Germany, France and the United Kingdom. Two years later, the band came out Volume IV: Hammered Again, still at Napalm Records, and then toured with John Garcia and Sleep. In 2016 a new tour with My Sleeping Karma and Greenleaf is preparing.
