Manitou

Manitou formed in Finland in 1997. Like many groups around the corner the quintet draws its influences from the British Heavy stage led by Iron Maiden and other Judas Priest, but adds a progressive side that is owed mainly to Dream Theater.
After many demos the band ended up getting a signature at Rage of Achilles and released a first album in 2004, The Mad Moon Rising . This label will then file the balance sheet, briefly leaving the orphan group, which will quickly sign at Firebox. Subsequently Manitou evinced his keyboardist without replacing him and made some changes within his line-up before recording Deadlock.
