Marbles
Biography
Marbles is the solo project of Robert Schneider, best known as the leader of the Apples In The Stereo, leading group of the psyché pop collective Elephant 6 . It was only in 1997 that the general public became aware of its solo skills with Pyramid Landing & Other Favourites, a compilation of songs created between 1992 and 1993 on a four-track track. Then Schneider will put Marbles in brackets for almost eight years, allowing him to perform in the band Ulysses (whose album 010 was released in 2004). But at the end of 2003 Marbles resumed service. Schneider then locked up at the Cello Studios in L.A. (which housed the recording of the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds) with his Mark Linnet who was involved, among other things, in the production of Brian Wilson's records. What was supposed to be just simple demos will eventually form Expo , the real first album of Marbles whose release is set to 2005 via Fargo Records .
