Mark Lanegan is an American songwriter of the indie scene, who has been making a mix of blues, stoner, rock and grunge since the early 90's. He began his career with Screaming Trees , one of the many bands in Seattle's grunge scene that got involved in Nirvana's breech. The gentleman has a very impressive resume. He worked with Kurt Cobain, with whom he worked on Where Did You Sleep Last Night (MTV Unplugged), and Cobain will play in return for the guitar on his first solo album.
