Biography

Marvin is a trio guitar, drums, Korg keyboard from Montpellier operating in a noisy rock using both Trans Am and Shellac. After a self-produced demo released in 2004 and a split CD alongside the excellent Doppler , Marvin released a first album in early 2007 opening the door to a European tour. In 2010, the band progressed with the release of Hangover The Top , a second, more versatile album on the excellent Africantape label ( Extra Life , Aucan ), which took over the same year of the LP reissue of the first album. In order to promote their new record, Montpellierans set off on the roads with Pneu , Paper Tiger and Electric Electric during a joint tour called Colonie de Vacances , which will give birth to a 4-way split 2x7". In 2013 comes Barry , produced by Vincent Robert ( Electric Electric ) further asserting the direction taken with the previous one, while adding to the point.
