Mclusky

Mclusky is a trio from Cardiff, Wales. It was originally the 1998 meeting between Andy Falkous (guitar and singing) and Mat Harding (battery) which gave birth to Best whose existence will be very short. With the addition of the third bass member (John Chapple) in 1999, the now trio takes the name of Mclusky. Their stated purpose is to twist the original ideals of punk. In his early years, Mclusky was reminded of formations such as the Pixies or Shellac, and in his six years of existence and three albums, he achieved a very personal composition, remarkable for its constantly renewed richness. The first album of the Welsh combo "Mypainandsadnessismoresadandpainfulthanyours" will be released in 2000 on the Fuzzbox label and will immediately make them notice in the UK with two singles already ("Rice is nice").
