Mein Sohn William
Biography
Mein Sohn William is Dorian Taburet and all his mess. A guy from Rennes who's doing the shit on stage with a bear-eared hood like nobody else. He sings, he grunts, he plays guitar, he hits anything with... anything! His first ep, National Orchestra, which he recorded in his room, is in its third edition and appears in 2009. The first two (in mini CD format) were released on Offoron Records, while the third version is a purely DIY, to distribute on the road (including a date with Kill The Thrill and Aluk Todolo in 2010 at the Embobineuse de Marseille) that he regularly surveyed for a couple of years now. In 2012, he released his first eponymous album via the label Ici D'Ailleurs in which we find several songs of his ep like Husband, Carbonnade or Million Thousand People. On stage, his performances are true epileptic marathons and he is often supported by Éric Thouvenel (Lower Club) and Antoine Minguy (Battery). His second release is called Every Day, In Every Way, which appeared in 2014 on the same label, then Mein Sohn William has been pretty discreet for years. He returned with a song entitled Batacuda in 2019 with Thomas VDB as guest.
