Meringue Alcohol And Us

Amandine, Bruce and Judicaël formed the group Meringue, Alcohol and Us in October 2006, after an unexpected meeting in a bar in Poitiers. They begin by discovering themselves around a few times but, very quickly, their influences mix and the need to work on their own compositions is felt. The first songs revolve mainly around the guitar and the voices then gradually, mandolin, xylophone, ukulele and cello make their appearance. Thus, the sounds of the group are gradually moving away from the traditional folk. A first demo was then set up in 2007, followed the year after by a first long effort welcomed by the independent press.
