Originally from the city of Aalborg in northern Denmark, the quintet Mighty Midgets took shape in June 2006 around hardcore punk and committed ideas (freedom of expression, environmental issues, rejection of any form of discirmination...) Within the next 6 months they released a first demo (15 Minutes of Shame) as well as a CD split with The Cakes (Germany). They then take the time to build closer ties with their national scene and set up their own 5FeetUnder Records label, on which a 7" split will be released with their compatriots from Stars Burn Stripes.
After dates all over Danemmark, they come back with the EP Plug-N-Pray (2008), open for This Is A Standoff, Streetlight Manifesto, Smoke Or Fire ... The year 2009 will be devoted to the opening of a recording studio and the recording of a first album during weekends and holidays: the launch party of Raising Ruins for the Future takes place on 26 March 2010, after almost 150 concerts. In early 2011, they completed the composition of 7 titles recorded in March. The post-production is entrusted to Mass Giorgini (Anti-Flag , Rise Against , Screeching Weasel , The Queers ...) These songs are found in the summer on a 4-way split with Revenge of the Psychotronic Man, Fist of the North Star and Broken Aris). In October, the Danes set out to defend him for a few days in Russia.
