Mimas

A post-rock quartet, Mimas derives his name from Greek mythology. This ultimately matters little once you get to know the group since the Danish have the broad ideas and enjoy perverting any iconography. A staggered tote that finds itself in their music then the post-rock bases behind their first release, a self-produced EP, Hands Will Carry, in 2005 gradually transformed into a unique indie and identity that placed them near their comrades in Efterklang or Slaraffenland. Their first album under the arm in 2008, the band exported and The Worries released in France in 2009, preludes a long European tour in the summer.
