Mindlag Project

Mindlag Project was formed in 1999 around the Martinez brothers, Julien on drums and Manu on guitar. Next came Richard to bass and Nemo to sing, allowing the band to exacerbate their aspirations for metal and thrash. It was in 2001 that the band knew its final form, incorporating new and more familiar members of the hardcore scene. Mathieu (ex-Hybride) replaced Nemo, Gilles succeeded Richard as bassist, and Vince acted as second guitarist. In 2002, the group began recording a "biology" inspired by the legends of Charybde and Scylla from ancient Greece. This is how Karybda came out during the summer of the same year, allowing the quintet to forge a reputation alongside the greatest names in the French metal scene. Mindlag Project will raise the interest of the Aubagnais label Customcore Records in 2004, with a view to the imminent release of their second opus. Production is provided by none other than Christian Carvin (Eths, Babylon Pressure, Disturb), as was the case for Karybda. Skylla landed in the bins in February 2005, with a solid distribution signed Overcome Records.
