Houston, Texas, 1994. Christopher Simpson (Chant / Guitar), Jeremy Gomez (Basse), Scott McCarver (Guitare), Gabriel Wiley (Battery) don't know yet, but by founding Mineral they will change, like other Midwest bands (Cap'N Jazz , Braid , Jimmy Eat World , The Get Up Kids ...), the face of the Emo of the 1990s. Two records are enough, The Power Of Failing in 1997 and Endserenading in 1998, which are released at Crank! Records. Like most Emo projects with ephemeral longevity, Mineral marks the spirits with red iron and disappears almost immediately in 1998. The duo Christopher Simpson and Jeremy Gomez continue their career at The Gloria Record, which is more or less the logical suite of Mineral. Gabe Wiley founded Pop Unknown, Imbroco with Scott McCarver and later Kissing Chaos. It was in 2014 that we discovered with amazement the reformation of the quartet for an American and European tour.
