Ardue is the task of summarizing Ministry ... From the beginnings to today the band has come a huge path that earned it the status of founding father of industrial music (with NIN). Even though the group influenced, motivated or inspired most of the current industrial-metal formations (Marylin Manson , Rammstein , Mass Hysteria , Punish Yourself , Sin to name but a few) it has been able to stay far away from the technological looks to the taste of the day by preserving dancing samples and especially preserving their unique identity. It is with a certain amusingness that one plunges his tympanos into the first steps of Al Jourgensen (song, guitar, harmonica ...) in the mid-1980s, with With Sympathy in 83 and Twitch in 86, where electronics tries to match with the humanoid aspect without real success.
