Minus
Biography
Founded in Reykjavík in 1998, Minus has an unusual trajectory. Originally apostles of a Chaotic Hardcore without concessions similar to that of Zao at the time (Hey, Johnny!), the Icelandic will find themselves a little less than ten years later sharing the scene with the Foo Fighters or Queens Of The Stone Age. The problem is that the five young men will continue to move away from their origins and from the beaten path. More openly rock and atypical the band attracts against all expectations the graces of the specialized press on the occasion of the release of his second album Jesus Christ Bobby and will sink the nail some time later with Halldór Laxness despite the departure of two of its members. After returning to business after endless tours in the mid-2000s, Minus further pushed back his limits with what remains to date his latest album: The Great Northern Whalekill before disappearing from radars. Although a new album was announced as completed in 2010, it will never be released, confirming the band's sleeping status. Kruumi Björgvinsson (chant) has since been seen in Legend .
