Mirel Wagner

Although Mirel Wagner was raised in Finland, she has deep Ethiopian roots. The young artist, born in 1991, soon conveyed her legends and her personal stories through a guitar and a violin. She also quickly shared them, in the Helsinki bars, until she was spotted by a journalist and then invited to record her first album, like a big one. Whatever the decor, however, Mirel Wagner's folk bathe in darkness, and flourishes in deprivation, as close as possible to words and his characters. His second album, When The Cellar Children See The Light Of Day , was released in 2014.
