Mirror Of Deception
Biography
Mirror of Deception was formed in 1990 at the initiative of the two guitarists Michael Siffermann and Jochen Fopp. Seven years later, after a few line-up changes and five recorded demos, the band was offered a deal at Sub Zero Records, allowing it to release an EP quickly, then enter the studio to record a first album. He will remain there for two years, changing his label in the meantime for The Miskatonic Foundation after the disappearance of Sub Zero Records. This first opus, entitled Mirrorsoil, was born in 2001 and received a very favourable reception, with the group having the opportunity to play with bands such as Solstice or Warning. After some changes, Mirror of Deception took part in the first edition of the Doom Shall Rise in 2003, released another EP, and embarked on a tour with Reverend Bizarre and Reverend Bizarre. Its line-up still as unstable does not prevent the band from recording a second opus, Foregone, which was released at Final Chapter in 2004. The training continues to survey the boards, including a tour of Finland with Count Raven and again Reverend Bizarre . Scards , the band's third album, was released in 2006 by Cyclone Empire Records . Since then, if the band is still running, we must note the release of two splits, one with Tefra in 2008, and the other with Garden of Worm the following year. Line-up : Michael Siffermann (guitar / singing) Jochen Fopp (guitar) Andreas Taller (bass) Jochen Müller (battery)
