Moon Duo

A duet composed of Sanae Yamada and Erik Johnson of Wooden Shjips, Moon Duo started his ballads on the beach in 2009 with the release of the EP Killing Time. Crashed by the psychedelic Krautrock of aileuls like Spacemen 3 , Suicide or Silver Apple , Moon Duo offers a fuzzy music that wouldn't have gone unnoticed at Elektrohasch (Colour Haze , Sungraver , My Sleeping Karma , Causa Sui ...). In 2010 the band's first LP, Escape , was released, quickly followed by another one, Mazes , the following year with more marked Krautrock hints and whose sunny accents will recall The Black Angels' Phosphene Dream , released a year earlier.
