Morgion
Biography
Today considered one of Doom Death's largest bands, Morgion formed in 1990 around Dwayne Boardman (guitar), Jeremy Peto (song/ bass), Rhett Davis (battery) and Mike Davis (guitar). After two demos and an EP recorded between 1991 and 1993 and some changes within the line-up, the band eventually released its first album, titled "Among Majestic Ruin", in 1997 by Relapse Records. This album testifies to the band's new orientation, which leaves Death Metal from the beginnings for the Doom Death. Some changes later, Solinari , second American opus, landed in 1999. For his third album, the band once again changes his line-up and chooses to release what will remain his greatest success at Dark Symphony, namely Cloaked by Ages, Crowned in Earth, in 2004. Unfortunately, after some major disruptions within the group, Morgion disappeared the same year. In 2008, Relapse released The Relapse Collection , a compilation of everything Morgion recorded at the label. On this occasion, the group participates in the Murderfest. It should also be noted that Morgion was soon reshaped as DustFlow. Line-up : Dwayne Boardman (guitar / singing) Gary Griffith (guitar / singing) Justin Christian (bass) Peter Surowski (battery)
