Mortillery
Biography
The Canadian Mortillery band was founded in Edmonton in 2008 by Miranda Wolfe (Basse), Alex Gutierrez (Guitare), Cara McCutchen (Chant), Max (Battery) and James G (Guitare). In the line of recent Thrash Metal revival formations like Fueled By Fire, Havok or Suicidal Angels, they released a first eponymous in 2010 just before Kevin Gaudet (Batterie) and Alex Scott (Guitare) replaced Max and James. It is under this new line-up that Mortillery signs at Horror Pain Gore Death Productions for the release of their first effort, Murder Death Kill , in 2011. The band quickly talked about him and signed with Napalm Record, which reissued the album in 2012. Origin Of Extinction , their second album, released the following year via the Austrian label, but at the end of the year Kent Quinlan replaced Alex Scott on guitar. In early 2014, Mortillery joined the European tour of Sepultura accompanied by Flotsam And Jetsam as well as Legion Of The Damned .
