Biography

Most Precious Blood was born in New York during the summer of 2000, following the implosion of Indecision at its last concert, which had brought together 43 people in an El Paso bar. Rachel (low) and Justin (guitar) take tangent and surround themselves with Tom Sheehan (ex-Indecision between 1993 and 1998) singing and Pete Larussa on drums. Most Precious Blood is the first to perform in clubs as prestigious as Love or CBGB'S and records a first demo that quickly catches the attention of Trustkill Records, the hardcore New Jersey label. With the arrival of Pat Flynn (ex-Indecision between 1993 and 2000), the band began to engulf the entire territory of the United States and began writing its first album, Nothing In Vain , which was released in 2001. Shortly before the end of the recording, Most Precious Blood separated from Flynn, replaced by Sean MacCann, and took the opportunity to perform a complete overhaul with the addition of a new bass player, Matt Miller, Rachel, who was dedicated to guitar only. This period is a pivotal moment in the group's biography. Its members then decided to drop any parallel professional activity (legal medicine for Rachel, psychology for Tom, and the voice off Howard Stern's show for Justin) to devote themselves essentially to hardcore. Their album Nothing In Vain under the arm, the New York band then embarks on a series of concerts that leads him to share the poster with Sick of it All, The Hope Conspiracy, Bleeding Through, Bane, Give Up the Ghost, Terror or Rise Against. Around 2003, Most Precious Blood separated from Sheehan, replaced by Rob Fusco (formerly One King Down). The band is back on the road and following a European tour with Madball , enters the studio for the recording of its second album entitled Our Lady of Annihilation which will meet with a great success. The combo will return two years later with Merciless, in the line of its predecessor but often judged as a tone below. The band only returns to the front of the stage after many years of radio silence, always armed with the same will to fight it and present a certain idea of Hardcore: it is the time of Do Not Resuscitate which appeared in February 2011 at Morse Code Recordings.
