Joey Bruce and Shane Schuch meet at the age of 16 in Polk County, Florida. They maintain their good relations year after year and set up their musical projects (Sagoh and Delivery Boy respectively), before launching the idea of setting up a band together with two additional friends, Justin Cason and Aaron Venrick.
In '06 Mouse Fire sees the light of day and soon after releasing his demos, the quartet is approached by the label Lujo Records ( Cool Hand Luke , Baby Teeth , Dark Romantics ...) which offers them to release their first album already ready in self-production. It will be done on November 06 '07.
After a promotional tour, Mouse Fire announced in February a slight musical shift. It will be doubled by a line-up change since singer Joey Bruce leaves the band at the end of March '08. The remaining trio decides to do a test like this, and Shane Schuch takes the microphone. New demos were released in June of the same year, confirming a slightly different course in the music orientation of MF.
