Mouth Of The Architect

Formed in 2003 by Jason Watkins (song, keyboard), Alex Vernon (song, guitar) and Gregory Lahm (song, guitar), Dave Mann (drums) and Derik Sommer (bass), Mouth Of The Architect released his first album, Time And Withing , the same year. Offering a Postcore looking towards the Sludge and gravitating around complex structures, the combo reports collaboration with musicians from Mastodon, These Arms Are Snakes and Botch. The band also accompanied Unsane on tour in 2007 during the release of The Ties That Blind in 2006.
Little spared by the changes in line-ups (departure of Vernon in 2006, Lahm in 2007; arrivals of Steve Brooks and Kevin Schindel), the band still finds the way to release a third album, Quietly , in 2008 before announcing a new ep for early 2010 and its participation in the Roadburn Festival the same year.
