Biography

Mudcrutch was formed in 1970 by Tom Petty (Basse / Chant) and Tom Leadon (Guitare / Chant) who played together in The Epics. Between 1970 and 1975 the line-up will never be completely stable and the combo will produce only two singles, Up In Mississippi Tonight and Depot Street in 1971 and 1975 before the split of the band. In August 2007, Tom Petty invited Tom Leadon and Randall Marshall (Battery) to reform Mudcrutch with Benmont Tench (Clavier / Chant) and Mike Campbell (Guitare) by Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers. The eponymous album, containing fourteen songs including old compositions, appeared in 2008 followed by the ep Live!.
