" A fast, melodic and technical punk rock. " That's the description that Mute makes of his own music and it's the one that suits him. Formed in Quebec City ten years ago, under the influence of Craigs Brother, Satanic Surfers and other Lagwagon, the band first played "covers" before embarking on its own compositional work, leading to a demo (2000) and an Ep (2001). But the real leap in the quartet's career took place in 2003 with the recording of his first album Sleepers . The combo then shares the scene with Ten Foot Pole , Much The Same , Rise Against , Belvedere and makes a name. After the re-release of the first Ep Blueprints, Mute began his revolution with the recording of The Raven in 2008, which devoted him to one of the most prominent Canadian bands. France will soon have the opportunity to see this since hexagon is fortunate to welcome them for several dates in April.
