Biography
The American trio began music in the early 1990s under the name of Magnified Plaid with the influences of pop punk bands from Southern California and bands like Descendants or Green Day. Very quickly, the trio will separate from their first guitarist and Tom will join the band. That's when the group takes as its final name MxPx. And after a showcase in Mike's garage, the love story between Tooth And Nail and MxPx will be born. With the release in 1994 of Pokinatcha on the label "punk catho", the trio will start its little bit. Since the beginning of the combo on recence 8 albums (Pokinatcha in 94, Teaning Politics in 95, Life In General in 97, Slowly Going The Way Of The Buffalo in 98, At The Show in 99, The Ever Passing Moment in 2000, Before Everything And After in 2003 and Panic in 2005), 4 EP (On The Cover in 95, Move To Bremerton in 96, The Renaissance in 2001 and AC/EP in 2004), a vaing Singles, 3 compilations of their best songs, 4 labels (Tooth And Nail until 99, A&M between 2000 and 2003, Fat Wreck in 2001 and finally Side One Dummy since 2004. Few bands present such a beautiful resume, only the Less Than Jake can claim better. But Bremerton's natives don't lose their envy. After a Pani c in 2005, released on the side of Side One Dummy, the label that gives back lives to groups losing speed (suicide machines, 7 Seconds and MxPx so) the trio continues its production one year/one record with Let's Rock, a compilation of Face-B and rarity.
