My Shameful

My Shameful is an unknown training within the Doom Death scene, but the quality of its productions makes it one of the best formations of the genre thanks to an absolutely uncompromising sound. The group was born somewhere in Finland in 1999, founded by two long-time friends and collaborators, Sami Rautio and Harri Jussila. The duo recorded three demos with a rhythm box during the year 2000,own in Sadness , your Dark Overwhelming as well as To All I hat , which was reissued the following year by the Italian label Nocturnal Music. Thanks to this boost, the band is quickly noticed and signed by its compatriots of Firebox Records. However, Jussila chose to leave the ship, but Rautio decided to continue as one-man-band. He will record by himself (always helped by a rhythm box) the first album of the "group", Of All the Wrong Things , released in 2003. The sound is very massive and slow, carried by a growl voice and screaming at times, similar to the very first productions of the genre ( Winter ). One perceives influences of My Dying Bride, but "without anything romantic, just a Doom sound crushing heavyness, without keyboards, strings or female singing" as pleases to call the band since its beginnings. It is only one year after the release of ...of Dust , a new album of the "formation", which pushes further than its predecessor the heaviness of sound, the fury of the voice and the funeral character of the ensemble. Rautio soon surrounded musicians so that he could finally give concerts and promote his band. It was not until 2006 that My Shameful, with a line up finally complete, released his third album, The Return to Nothing , which was released on September 9.
