My Sleeping Karma
Biography
First side-project Stoner Rock from The Great Escape , My Sleeping Karma starts with a series of jams that explore the psychedelic side of the style. It is composed of Seppi (Guitare), Steffen (Battery), Matte (Basse) and Norman (Claviers / Guitar).
After the split of The Great Escape in March 2006, the quartet entered the studio to record his first songs. The eponymous album that follows comes out the same year on Elektrohasch ( Colour Haze , Causa Sui ). The band then toured at various national festivals to present its sweet stoner/psyché/post-rock mixture.
My Sleeping Karma then went on second album, Satya in 2008, which is a tribute to free Tibet and filled with Buddhist references; The combo makes itself known quickly and plays at Roadburn 2010 to present, Tri , which lurks on the side of Hindu religion. Two years later, the Germans released Soma at Spinning Goblin Productions, a division of the Napalm Records label. The group is still taking a step in terms of recognition and is increasingly present on stage and in European festivals. In 2015, Moshka was the fifth album of the combo to be released by Napalm Records.
