Nails
Biography
Originating from California, Oxnard precisely Todd Jones (Guitare / Chant), John Gianelli (Basse) and Tom Hogan (Battery) founded Nails in late 2007. Pushing Hardcore into his last cuts (Grindcore / Powerviolence), the trio recorded a first album Obscene Humanity in 2009. Tom Hogan was replaced by Taylor Young and the band was noticed by Souther Lord Recordings for the release of Unsilent Death, which made great noise in the extreme music scene in 2010. The tour continues, the band goes up in reputation and increases from three to four musicians with the arrival of Andy Saba as second guitarist in 2012. A split with Skin Like Iron was created that same year, then Nails recorded a third burn, Abandon All Life, which confirmed all the violence of these sound terrorists. Finally, the band returned to the trio formula after recording the album. The concerts are numerous with Twitching Tongues , Code Orange , Terror or Full Of Hell and the band multiplies its passages in festivals. Nails became more and more famous and signed with Nuclear Blast Records for the release of a third opus, You Will Never Be One Of Us, in 2016.
