Nanowar Of Steel

Nanowar is a band by Heavy / Power Metal humorous Italian parody, besides Manowar, bands such as Blind Guardian, Iron Maiden, Rhapsody Of Fire, Dream Theater ... It was founded in early 2003 in Rome by bassist Gatto Panceri 666, who recorded the "pre-demo" True Metal Of The World. Soon after, the training was completed with the arrival of singer Potowotomimak, guitarists Mohammed Abdul and Sir Daniel (the latter soon left the adventure without being replaced), and drummer Uinona Raider. Then released the first "real" demo, Triumph Of True Metal Of Steel. In 2005, Mr Baffo participated in the writing of the first album, Other Bands Play, Nanowar Gay! and joined the combo as second singer. Two years later, Nanowar extended his name to Nanowar Of Steel, referring to Rhapsody now Rhapsody Of Fire. The first release under this name is the live Made In Naples . The second album was released in 2010, entitled Into Gay Pride Ride . Then in 2014 appeared a record containing new versions of old titles as well as some new compositions: A Knight At The Opera. After the EP Tour-Mentone Vol. In 2016, the third real album, Stairway To Valhalla, was released in November 2018.
