Nawather

Nawather is a Tunisian metal band founded in 2013 by Hichem Ben Amara (Basse), Saif Ouhibi (Battery), Yazid Bouafif (Guitare), Nidhal Jaoua (Qanûn), Raouf J Occulta (Chant) and Ryma Nakkach (Chant). Nawather offers music that is characterized by an alternation of authentic oriental music and metal roots mixing Death or Doom Metal. It is a kind of cultural encounter to which is added another which could describe itself as the harmony between a lyrical song of a clear female voice and the heavy song of a male voice. The band's first album, Wasted Years, was released in January 2016 at M&O Music.
