Necro
Biography
Necro, by his real name Ron Braunstein, grew up in Brooklyn, New York, while the Hip Hop was only in its early stages. However, it is towards death metal that he turns first, Ron being guitarist of the Injustice band alongside his brother Ill Bill. Although he was barely 14 years old in the late 1980s, he will already perform in the small clubs in New York as the first part of Napalm Death, Immolation, Biohazard, Sepultura, or Obituary, just that. But at that moment everything is rocking. The Hip Hop begins to emerge and makes little Ron the dangerous Necro, mc to the gore universe directly inspired by his immutable Death-Metal culture. The same is true for his brother, Ill Bill, with whom he later formed the Non Phixion group. For more than nine years, Necro will chain the contests, win many, release singles, rap on the songs of Non Phixion and Cage, and smear radio stations with its raw style that leaves no one indifferent. 1999 is a new turning point in the mc's career because Necro founded his own label, Psycho+Logical+Records , on which he released his first album I Need Drugs a year later. Since then, several artists such as Ill Bill , Mr. Hyde or Sabac Red have joined the label. The sauce starts to take and he returns two years later with the good name Gory Days , his second album which will be quite comfortable. Rebelote in 2004 with The Pre-Fix For Death, then The Sexorcist in 2005 on which many stars of the X appear, the other passion of this dear Necro. Instruments of these albums have since been published as well as compilations in three volumes of demos and freestyles. Mixtapes with Ill Bill entitled Street Villains in two volumes were released in 2003 and 2005 as well as the Brutality Part 1 in 2003. Before flooring again on a new production, Necro is partnering with Ill Bill, Goretex, and Mr Hyde to found the side-project The Circle Of Tyrants in 2005, in tribute to the famous Celtic Frost title later taken by Obituary. It was in 2007 that the rapper returned with Death Rap, having not lost his old rage.
