Necrophagist
Biography
Necrophagist was founded in Germany in early 1992. The line up includes Raphael Kempermann on drums, Jochen Bittmann on bass, and Muhammed Suicmez on guitar and singing. The band forges a blending Grind, ultra-fast and technical death metal style, with a progressive musical approach. The band's frontman stands out in particular by its use of neoclassical ranges for his solos, like shredders like Yngwie Malmsteen. Shortly after the band's creation, they entered the studio to record "Requiems Of Festered Gore , a first demo (five tracks) that will only serve as a promotion for concert organizers. In 1995, a new one appeared in the band, Matthias Holzapfel, which performed guitar. Necrophagist began to build a severe reputation in the Death metal Underground, and made talk about him outside Germany. They entered the studio again to record Necrophagist , a second demo (four tracks) eponymous. In 1999 Onset Of Putrefaction released their first album. Muhammed Suicmez then records all the inhumanly playable scores (except the drums) alone, failing to find quickly enough the musicians able to do it. This album will become a reference for many bands in the same style. In 2004, the line up changed (new to the musical ambitions of Muhammed). Muhammed Suicmez remains the frontman, Hannes Grossmann is on drums, Stefan Fimmers on bass, and Christian Muenzner on guitar. Necrophagist then became one of the sizes of the Brutal Death metal in Europe, and revived the style that many believed was lost. They then tour with great names like Napalm Death , Cannibal Corpse , Sinister and are invited to major international festivals, such as Maryland deathfest in the United States or Brutal Assault in the Czech Republic. They re-record Onset Of Putrefaction , because technical defects on the album spoil the expected result, and adding two songs present on the second demo. The band signed at Relapse records, it was then for them the recognition of their talent, and a chance to meet the greatest. Then a new bomb makes talk about it in the middle of the extreme metal. In 2004 Epitaph released their second album, confirming the incredible dexterity and speed of each member.
