Biography

Ned has existed as a trio since 1998. From the first artisanal cassettes to the creation of SK Records, their music has continued to evolve through recordings, encounters, tours and always in a DIY spirit. The trio opened up to more and more different influences from the borderlic punk of the beginnings. Combining noise n'roll with the beginnings, twisted blues and groovy hints, anti-musical concepts and good old rock n'roll, Ned found his way to walk, always at the limit of the imbalance, even though he no longer knows on which foot to dance. The Love Off!!! E.P released in 2001 and shows the most raw aspects of the group. It is recorded in a few days, in a cellar with the means of the edge. Energy is urgent and jubilatory. A split with DOPPLeR follows shortly afterwards to accompany their joint tour in Czech Republic and Germany. Ned recorded his most pop song. In August 2002, the first real album was recorded at the Off Ya Tree studio in Hamburg (Germany) by Heiko Lindner and Henry Lafrenz. The sound is more disciplined thanks to the rigor of German technicians. 2003 marks the meeting with the label Jason R who publishes a 10" split with Oharu to mark a French tour. Ned has, in 7 years of existence, performed about 500 concerts in Europe and France in countries such as England, Scotland, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, the United States and France. Sharing the poster with many French or international trainings such as Laddio Bollocko, Nomeansno, Guapo, Sabot, Blonde Redhead, Bastard, Ulan Bator, Melt Banana, Oxbow, Psychoic Paramount, Explosions In The Sky or Don Caballero. After these many dates, the band returned in 2011 with a new album under the arm, Bon Sauvage, edited by Africantape and SK Records.
