Nerf Herder
Biography
Nerf Herder was formed in 1994. In 1996 they released their first eponymous cd on My Records (RIP), the label of Joey Cape de Lagwagon and thanks to the success generated by the song "Van Halen", they signed with Arista Records in 1997. In 1998, Charlie the bassist left the band and was replaced by the former bassist of Ten Foot Pole, Pete Newbury. In 1999, he refused to go on a European tour, so he was replaced by Marko, who helped them with the tour. In 2000, Nerf Herder left Arista records and released the cd how to meet girls on Honest Don's. They then took a productive rhythm by releasing an EP My Ep on My Records (RIP) and in 2002 they released the CD American Cheese on Honest Don's again. For the anecdote, it was Nerf Herder who composed the B.O. of the Buffy series against vampires. Current 2005, the band returns to the front of the stage but it is necessary to wait until April 2008 for their new album IV .
