Biography

From Montreal, Canada, Nervous Impulse is a pure and hard formation of Death / Grind. The band was born in October 2007, under the impulse of Yan Chamberland to the battery (ex- Empathy Denied / Obscene Crisis). Yan then recruited two young guitarists, Robert Guimond and Vincent Malo, and in 2009 bassist Felix Bourcier. Nervous Impulse quickly became one of the most furious and brutal groups on the Montreal scene. The first album, Enough Dementia , was produced and mixed by Yan and Hugues Deslauriers ( Augury , Clearwater Deathblow , Empathy Denied ). This first realization was well received by many critics of the Underground world. After several concerts in the Quebec region in 2009/2010, members focused on writing new titles. 2011 marks a new era for training with the addition of guitarist Bruno Mercier. May 2013, Nervous Impulse monkey a deal with the Canadian label Blast Head Records. In February 2015 the band released its second production, Time to Panic, at Blast Head Records. Thanks to this more mature effort, Nervous Impulse is stepping up its level of energy and brutality. It is again Hugues Deslauriers who passes behind the mixing table. Mastering is the joint work of Deslauriers and Christian Donaldson who have ensured that the sound is direct and massive in order to satisfy the lovers of extreme brutality. The cover is made by Filip Ivanovic on the basis of an oil painting.
