Neuraxis

Neuroxis (nü-rak'sis): The axial and unmatched part of the central nervous system as opposed to the two cerebral hemispheres. "When you undergo an attack with such an extreme sound, both brutal and melodic, the nervous system is affected in several ways. The neural axis (neuraxis) is the last barrier to cross before reaching the state of madness... When the spinal cord is under the control of the group, you become a slave until the beatings stop."
Neuroxis comes from Québec, a country full of very good death metal formations. The group quickly stood out from the usual brutal death scene by its progressive and melodic side, and a very different imagery from the usual gore/disease shots. After several excellent albums, Neuraxis is now one of the leaders of the Quebec scene, alongside Cryptopsy . In 2005, the Neuraxis won a global distribution contract with Earache, bringing their unique sound to our ears...
