Never Hit Again
Biography
After filming in a few formations together, Drumondvillois guitarists Miguel Sarazin, a graduate of the Cégep de Drummondville music program, and Samuel Jeanson formed Never Hit Again in spring 2004. They were joined a few months later by Alexandre Bédard (bass) and Julien Domingue (drummer), music students in Drummondville. After the passage through the boxes 'reprise' then 'demo' (in '05) and finally the first EP It They then met Louis-Charles Berthiaume at a Lowfat concert (his former combo), which became the new Quebecer's singer.
They soon composed four new tracks that will land on a 3 way split with Jim Bros and Still Alive. Comes the time of the tours, and it is after more than a year of composition and pre-productions that the quintet releases its first full album, Slow Motion Impact, on March 22 '09.
Displaying a hundred dates on the counter (notably alongside Bigwig, The Swellers, Mute, Rentokill, High Five Drive etc), in summer 2009 the band returned to promote its opus on Canadian roads with Twenty Big Mistakes. A video will be produced the following year for the title "This Song". It will take until 2011 for the quintet to talk about him again. In June, they are in Chicago, at the Drasik Studios ( The Swellers , Counterpunch ) to put a new opus in the box. Sinkers appeared on October 04 in self-production.
