Nine Eleven
Biography
Nine Eleven took shape in November 2004 near Tours following the splits of No Time To Lose and Riot States Killers. The band did not waste time and recorded its first titles a month later. The concerts arrive in January 2005 where Nine Eleven shares the poster with The Promise , Sequoia , FTX , M-Sixteen , Jetsex among others. Line-up problems forced the Tourangels to take a six-month break before returning to the 2005 Free Edge Fest with Backsight, Fat Society and Aside From A Day. Nine Eleven released its first EP King For A Day, Ghost For A Lifetime in January 2006 at Free Edge Conspiracy, to which we owe the hardcore compilation DIY French Connection 3 . The critics are rather positive and the band continues on many concert dates in France but also in Spain, Italy and Switzerland. The first album, Use Your Disillusion , was released in April 2007 by STS Network and Guerilla Asso. It is followed by a new tour through the hexagon. City Of Quartz landed in 2009, drawing its title from Mike Davis' book, depicting the dreads of modern Western society by the Los Angeles prism. In 2012 comes Le Rêve de Cassandre , equipped with a new singer, then the EP 24 Years pushes a little more nail a year later, darker and less expeditious, at Nine Eleven Conspiracy. The surname also refers to the dates of 11/09/1973 marked by the rise to power of Pinochet in Chile, and 11/09/2001, marked by the attacks of the World Trade Center. "September 11 ... 1973 in Chile, Pinochet supported by the CIA
Allende democratically elected by the people. Result: 5,000 victims
will not deserve the tears of the West shed 28 years later on
the fate of the attacks on the World Trade Center. The facts
are more what they are but make sense according to the interpretation
media coverage; codes and symbols (freedom,
security / terror, chaos) that build our modern perception of
world – show alternate according to the political stakes of the moment. And
Nine Eleven is the most ostensible expression of the monologue that the
in the social construction of its
