Since 1998 and the creation of the band in Plymouth, England No Comply have played an effective mix of ska, punk and hardcore. With Kelly singing it's a training in the same genre as the Bretons of Butter Beans, it's true that skacore bands with girls singing is quite rare! And that's pretty good! The song is sometimes melodic at the Tsunami Bomb or hardcore at the Fast Times but it remains primarily skacore marked by the English scene (dequate 7 , capdown , awards alias ) and some us bands ( Link80 , Rx Bandits ).
3 DIY demos then another, cleaner, in 2001: Misuse of control and a tour with Mu330 the band is noticed by the magazine Big cheese which offers them the opportunity to join their label Deckcheese on which will release, in 2002, the EP 6 tracks Your life (is your direction) . This Ep will allow them to often appear on major English festivals and tours (Deconstruction Tour 04, Wasted 04, Carling Festival de Leeds, Oxfort truck festival or tours with Nerf Herder, Captain Everything! and even Good Charlotte). With growing popularity the band is considered one of the best live bands on the English scene. In 2004 the first album With windmills tuning wrong directions was released in the bins and the band began its first European tour in the lead after Nerf Herder .
