No Torso
Biography
In Oslo, Norway from mid-2001 to mid-2003 featured a ska band called Lax Meds Laks (counting up to a live demo and 3 other demos). Following its dissolution, many of its members rose to Septet No Torso in 2003, while the average age of the group was just 17 years. Very soon, in 2004, No Torso signed his first effort, an EP 5 tracks titled Fatal Fraud, on the national ska label Fucking North Pole Records. Mike Park , as a great observer of the international ska scene (among other styles) and self-managing Asian Man Records for 10 years, notes them and offers them to release their first album on his cult label. An offer that does not refuse, Several Brains appeared on May 09, 2006 and made little talk about him in the first few weeks after his release, before experiencing a small relative success. Prior to the release of the opus, Eivind "Hot Lips" Solheim joined the troupe as a trumpeter. The first big tour of No Torso outside its borders is scheduled for October '06 in the UK.... In 2007 they returned to writing and recorded some demos in March. The finals will be taken in the fall.
