Biography

None More Black took shape during the winter '00, some time after the split of Kid Dynamite, the common point between the two bands being singer Jason Shevchuk. In 2-3 years, the drummers (5 different before the release of File Under Black), the bassists (3 in 3 years) succeed each other but very quickly Jason's brother, Jeff, finds his place in the second guitar (Jason performing the functions of the first). A 7" was released on Sub Division Records in October '01. Shortly thereafter, Paul Delaney (Kill Your Idols) re-employs bass. The group then decided to split up... to reconsider its decision a few weeks later! New demos are sent out and Fat Wreck falls in love with the band and signs. Jason being very prolific to compose and write texts, NMB released his first 14 tracks in June '03 while about twenty songs were written.
