Novembre
Biography
It all started in Rome when the Orlando brothers, Carmelo (Guitare / Chant) and Giuseppe (Batterie), formed the Catacomb group in September 1990. They then played in a Doom/Death Metal register and, after releasing theep The Return Of The Arc, changed their name to November 1993. A year later, they released their first studio album, Wish I Could Dream It Again. Later in 1996 Arte Noncento owes its originality to his words in Italian and English. In 1997, Massimiliano Pagliuso joined the band as second guitarist and November gave birth to Classica in 1999 followed by Novemline Waltz in 2001. These albums show an evolution of the band towards more atmospheric sounds and with the addition of clear singing. November still matures by leaving Dream D'Azur in 2003 and especially Materia in 2006, which definitely marks the turning towards atmospheric Metal as their Swedish companions Katatonia , something they confirm with the arrival of The Blue in 2007. However, the group was inactive from 2008 until 2015 when Carmelo and Massimiliano set up the project again, but without Giuseppe. Ursa was born in 2016, still signed by Peaceville Records.
