Obdurated

First formed in 2001 under the name Obdurate à Amiens by Jérôme (Basse), Mehdi Salah (Battery), Fabrice (Guitare), Dominique Jean (Guitare) and Cédric Hochedé (Chant), the band recorded two demos in 2003 and 2004 and adopted the name Obdurated. It's in a Thrash style / Scandinavia-inspired melodic death that the band confirmed this in 2005 with a first self-produced album called Living In Faure . For four years, Obdurated defended his album on stage alongside Benighted , Napalm Death ..., but experienced disillusionment and linear-up problems. Pauline Colombani (Basse) and Olivier Flamein (Guitare) were then recruited for the departure of Jérôme and Fabrice. The French signed Pervade Productions for The Answers Within in 2009. It will be followed by an ep of covers, The Covers Within , in 2012 with The Haunted , Machine Head , Heaven Shall Burn ... Dany Serreau replaces Mehdi Sahla behind the drums and Obdurated enchaine with a third opus, I Feel Nothing , which released in 2014 at Mighty Music.
